I use my Thermomix everyday and sometimes 3 times a day. My interest in cooking has exploded into something uncontrollable. Now I’m making things I never even comtemplated before, buying cooking magazines and testing recipes with the Thermomix. WOW!!

Welcome home Corallie! Does it help to know you’re not alone?! That’s one of the things about Thermomix that is almost impossible to convey to those who don’t have one: that it takes over our lives in such a weird and wonderful way. Owning Thermomix pushed me right over the edge into the world of blogging, which I had NOT foreseen. I remember being alone in my kitchen playing with Thermomix many times and thinking that it was crazy to feel such fondness for a machine and that nobody would understand. Well, we DO understand Corallie… you’re a kindred cook and just like that, overnight, you’ve gained millions of friends around the world. Yippee, do the happy dance around the kitchen and give that Thermomix a kiss from me ;-)

    Your image ROCKS!
I want you to make one of me!
Gee – we need to talk about that – I think I am serious. Let me know how much time it takes and I will think about whether I want to invest in that…. right now. I very well might, if this is something you very well might do for me.
But, you know – only TWO chins.

LOL Valerie, very funny! Glad you like the image in this post :) But just in case you hadn’t noticed I barely have time for blogging these days, let alone time for “commissioned portraits”. If we’re lucky enough to run into each other at a food bloggers’ conference this is something we can talk about ;-)

Why oh why does no one EVER mention the price? I won’t even consider anything is worthwhile, and I know the Thermomix is VERY expensive, unless I know that paying for it is going to be at all possible. I’m a disabled pensioner so would need to save up. Therefore how much am I looking at … UK prices? I used to love cooking before my husband died and I think this gadget could get me back to it. So … pleeeese … how much is it?
