Giveaway winner gives it away — For Food’s Sake!

Thanks again to Hub and Spoke Publishing for offering Tenina’s beautiful “For Food’s Sake” as giveaway to a Thermomix fan who follows this blog. After a short and very sweet contest run it’s time to announce the winner of this much sought-after book by the reigning queen of the Australian Thermomix scene!

Thanks also to all who played along this time around. The entries came fast but game-play was super friendly as many people already had ordered or bought a copy of For Food’s Sake and were trying to win a copy for their mothers, daughters, sisters, ‘besties’, husbands and even wives. (So heart-warming!) Ultimately, the lucky winner chosen by random.org was none of the above… today’s winner has plans to give her copy to a dear grand-daughter!

Please join in to congratulate
~ Jean Perry ~
as lucky winner of Tenina’s new book!

Jean Perry of Australia submitted comment # 6314, which was chosen by the impartial random.org. This should please at least two Thermomix fans: Jean is a three-year owner of Thermomix, who has been sharing her machine with a dear grand-daughter now preparing to buy her own.  Congratulations — I’m sure you will both enjoy preparing recipes from Tenina’s new book.

Tip! If you didn’t win, don’t be sad… just click here instead ;-)

Congratulations Jean and Jean’s grandaughter as well! My mums name is Jeanne and I have dedicated the book to her, so I find this all very appropriate! Well done!

How delightful! I love surprises and this contest was full of rich, surprising comments. Wish everyone could have had a free book, but truth is, we’re all winners because we have Thermomix, and we have Tenina… our Super Thermomix Recipe Machine!

Congratulations to you, Jean and to yout granddaughter. You were meant to get this book for her (that’s the only explanation I find to my missing this contest, as Paolo Coello would say, the universe plotted for your g-daughter to have this book).
I hope you both enjoy cooking with it and your thermomix.

Thank you to everyone for good wishes to me and my granddaughter who bought her thermomix today. Yes, I have looked at the book and have told her how lovely it is.
What fun, such lovely recipes. I can’t wait to cook the rhuberry and pistachio crumble for a start. We will certainly be sharing the recipes between us all.
Now we are a big family of thermomix users with six thermomix machines between us and lots of recipe books.
Guess what the conversation is when we get together. Even the men are interested.
    Thank you Tenina. regards Jean

Wow Jean… SIX machines in your family?! That is impressive. Are you sure you’re not Spanish? ;-)
It’s lovely to hear about all the family interest in this machine. Like Mara’s family, it sounds like you will be raising a whole new generation of Thermomix cooks. Cheers, H.
