I would love to win this book. I’ve had my thermomix for about a year now, but feel like I’m missing out on it’s full potential. Even though I use it lots, I feel I could be using it more. I love Tenina’s recipes. She makes cooking with the thermoxmix easy and fun!
    (hope I win)

  3. Bec February 4, 2012 at 7:14 pm #

Captifying dessert right there on the front cover…if I can make that I’m in food heaven! (plus I’m sick of those little spiral bound books that have no pics…like most tm revile books!!)

  4. Donna F February 4, 2012 at 7:36 pm #

For Food’s Sake is my kind of Thermomix cookbook because having been to one of Tenina’s cooking demonstrations I know she uses creativity and imagination to make the most of the Thermomix’s many functions. Tenina’s recipes have always been delicious and do-able. ‘For Food’s Sake’ will inspire the Thermomix owner to extend themselves with innovative and achievable recipes, and it will inspire those who don’t have a Thermomix to get out and buy one! For Food’s Sake also looks like it has lots of recipes, such as the flavoured butters, that would be perfect to make as gifts. We could spread the butter as well as the love! Most importantly the photos look superb.

  5. Deb February 4, 2012 at 7:38 pm #

I just ordered your book 2 days ago and I haven’t even purchased my Thermie yet!, that’s how impressed I was with your book :) I would love to win one for a friend of mine, who is the busiest woman I know but finds time for family, friends and her Thermie!

  6. Dana February 4, 2012 at 7:45 pm #

I love Tenina recipes, and what appeals to me in this book is the fact that it is written by an Australian. The pictures look awesome as do the recipes, and I like the idea of the added tips and introductions before each recipe.

  7. Amy February 4, 2012 at 7:48 pm #

Omg… Have you seen any of Tenina’s chocolate recipes?? one should have her book just for that! I’d love to win the book just for chocolate recipes alone!!!! Yummmmmm

I’m an elderly Thermomix enthusiast, and having seen some of Tenina’s beautiful recipes would just love “For Food Sakes”. I can’t wait to get my hands on Tenina’s “For Food’s Sake” cookbook. Food is an experience that should be experienced with all the senses. Inspiration for me starts from flipping through cookbooks with pictures and finishes with tasting great food – which Tenina’s book appears to have in abundance!

In 2 weeks we will be purchasing the Thermomix when we have our first in home demonstration, we live in country SA & our consultant is a 3 hour drive away. The opportuinity to attend cooking classes or demonstrations is non exsistent unless we drive to Adelaide which is 4 hours away. Tenina is a fantastic cook who we came across on the internet when reseaching Thermomix and would love this book to help us with our wonderful new purchase.

  32. A February 5, 2012 at 3:28 am #

I love Tenina’s Dinner Spinner and I think her new book looks just devine.

  34. ThermieGirl February 5, 2012 at 3:44 am #

For Food’s Sake! If Tenina, the highly respected recipe developer for Thermomix, doesn’t have the kudos to develop a spot-on Thermomix cookbook, then I can’t imagine who does! Tenina’s past track record guarantees a cookbook that will deliver in every way. If you can’t have Tenina herself in your kitchen, then ‘For Food’s Sake’ is the next best thing.

  35. Julie February 5, 2012 at 3:51 am #

“For Food’s Sake is my kind of Thermomix cookbook because it sounds like fun, easy to read, and I LOVE cooking in my Thermomix! I will probably order one anyway, but if I won one I would love to give it to a friend.

Third, it will bring my Thermomix to another level, I know it and a great addition to my Thermomix cookbook collection (not that I have lots, hint, hint).

As I have had my Thermomix for three years now my granddaughter has seen me using it all this time and is now ready to buy one for herself. I would dearly like to be able to give her something new to go with it. I think For Foods Sake sounds the sort of book to gat her started.

  42. Mrs Nesbit February 5, 2012 at 12:30 pm #

I have had my TMX for just under a week. So not owning any cookbooks besides the EDC I thought this would be a great start! On my travels through blogs and forums I’ve read since becoming a TMX’er it seems Tenina is quite the Celebrity. The Nigella and Jamie of the TMX world. I just need to figure out what Crio Bru is!

  43. Walker Lot February 5, 2012 at 12:52 pm #

Even though I’m away from the computer (busy packing and sending spatula orders!) and have been unable to respond personally to each comment, I am reading each one, nodding in agreement with all your reasons for wanting the book, and smiling :) What a great bunch of people reading/commenting on this blog. And thanks to you all for making this giveaway so much fun! 52. Lisa M February 5, 2012 at 6:09 pm #

  56. Cindy February 5, 2012 at 6:59 pm #

Regretably, i am not a Thermomix owner yet as funds don’t allow me to purchase one, but my sister has one and I always look forward to using hers when I stay with her or she brings it to Perth. It is for this reason that I would love to win a copy of the book and gift it to her. But of course, when i eventually do own a thermie, i would have to steal the book back off her as the recipes sound fabulous

  57. ThermomixBlogger Helene February 5, 2012 at 7:11 pm #

Awwww Cindy… that’s SO VERY NICE! I love it when people who don’t yet own the machine stop here to learn about it. When those same people take time to comment… well, that tells me you are already a Thermomix fan — you just don’t have one in your kitchen yet ;-) Thanks so much for joining in and good luck with the contest!

  58. snapnoi February 5, 2012 at 7:30 pm #

I have been owing a Thermomix for 6 months now and I haven’t been using it as much as I should (once a week). I often contemplate about selling it because I don’t know what to cook with Thermomix. I’m not a good cook and I need inspirations. I just don’t have any ideas what to cook. I hope winning the book would give me confidence that I made the right decision buying Thermomix and the machine is actually helping me being a better cook and I can use it for any dish.

  59. Cristina February 5, 2012 at 8:29 pm #

I have her Dinner Spinner (thanks Helene) and love Tenina’s recipes, love her pizza and the curry yummy! So for Food’s Sake I need to have Tenina’s new book!!

For Food’s Sake is my kind of Thermomix cookbook because of the lovely long list of those special kinds of foods that make a meal so much more exciting. Like the Caramalised Garlic Paste, the Rosemary and Fennel Applesauce and the Cheesy Sage Polenta. How good do they sound? They are the kind of things that make me really, really want this book. And then, of course is the White Chocolate Cheesecake with Raspberry Ganache. How could you not want this book.

  62. Lumish February 6, 2012 at 1:13 am #

For Food’s sake seems like my kind of book because I’ve yet to make the most of my thermie…I’m struggling to convert recipes from my cookbooks to the thermie, and Tenina’s book will 1. Give me a ready made approach and 2. A base from which to begin tweaking other recipes, I hope!

  63. Erin February 6, 2012 at 1:30 am #

I just got my thermomix this winter.
Having been craving for one since last winter, but since Thermomix is not for sale in the US I had to wait until I was visiting my families in Taiwan to get one.
–Of course all Thermomix books I have now are in Chinese and focus on Chinese food too.

I am a big pastry and sweets baker; the fact that this book contains recipes for the sour dough and the Baguette makes it a perfect book for a new Thermomix fan like me!!!
(Hmmm… maybe i should really buy this book if I don’t win the lottery… @@”)

For Food’s Sake would take pride of place in my kitchen. My demo for the thermomix is booked in exactly one week’s time and I already know I’m going to buy (I’m a food writer and a mother of two so it’s been a long time coming!). This amazing book will have me hitting the ground running!

I would absolutely adore this book, I have two daughters, one with special needs, and I can’t wait to be able to cook with both my girls and soak in the absolute delighted look on their faces as they realise they can cook too!

I’d love to surprise my wife on Valentines Day with a gift she would truly love!

My husband went to one of Tenina’s cooking classes
and thought she was really great!

So of course it would be unreal to win
a copy of “For Food’s Sake”

    We love the recipe photos
    We love her cooking style
We love that she’s a Thermomix queen
    and goes the extra mile.

Our four small kids will tell you
That Thermomix has changed our house
into a home of healthier food
and even the occasional grouse ;-)

For Food’s Sake is on my lust list as the pictures Tenina has been posting are totally drool worthy. Fantastic, yummy, Thermomix recipes – what more could a gal ask for?

I NEED this book!! Since Thermomix isn’t sold in the U.S. yet, it’s hard for me to get cookbooks. And I LOVE my new Thermomix!!!!!

  97. Kay February 7, 2012 at 6:51 am #

“For Food’s Sake” is my kind of Thermomix cookbook because I’m close to having tried nearly all the recipes in the rest of my Thermomix cookbooks and I’m keen to carry on cooking up a storm :-)

“For Food’s Sake” is going to be my next cookbook :-)

I’m not believing this… One week I’ve had my computer down and I just missed this giveaway!!! I’m still computer-less but I’m borrowing my mother-in-law’s right now.
Can’t believe my luck! I don’t think there’s anyone who loves a giveaway more than I do.
    I’m feeling down :(
Well, I’ll have to find a way to get it as soon as I get my computer back.
    So, so sad…

I wondered where you were Mara. Bl##dy computers.

Nevermind with any luck Helene will think of something new. Have you ordered the spatula yet? Don’t wanna miss out on that.

I know Mara! I blinked and it was over… and then I said to myself… “Where was MARA ?!?!” (I assumed you were busy with family etc.) Nothing to say about it now except that this book is truly wonderful. Everyone I’ve spoken to is SO impressed. There are SO many recipes that appeal to SO many people. This is not “marketing hype”… it’s simply the truth. Hope you find your way to getting a copy Mara, I think you probably have quite the collection of Thermomix cookbooks by now and this one is a MUST-HAVE ;-)

  103. ThermomixBlogger Helene March 23, 2012 at 12:55 pm #

Yup Valerie, that was a good one and I’m sorry you missed it, but there will be more giveaways in the no-to-distant future!

Can you ever have too many cook books?
